Charlotte Hawkins Brown Museum Hosts N.C. Poet Laureate

N.C. poet laureate Joseph Bathanti will read his work and engage in a question and answer session at The Charlotte Hawkins Brown Museum, a state historic site in Sedalia, Thursday, Sept. 26 at 6 p.m. The free, family-friendly event is open to the public and will take place at Kimball Hall, the historic dining hall associated with the Palmer Memorial Institute, an African American School open from 1902-1971.
